We’ve met just a couple times. I’m the ditzy violin player at Papa Robin’s church here in Monroe.

Today I caught up on your struggles with leukemia. Abby, there is so much I don’t understand—why you, why now, why this. You, dear lady, know more than any of us, the battle ahead. And I’m saddened to know that a few words and some kind thoughts won’t make it all better right now, won’t take the sting and nausea away this afternoon, won’t give you the rest and healing you need and deserve tonight.

Please know that you are loved beyond measure, adored more than imaginable, treasured beyond belief. We thank God for you and for surrounding you with the best in medical care and a family who will be with you every step of the way.

You are a star among all us minions!
