Happy May! As I enjoy beautiful spring flowers, I can’t help but remember some of life’s weedier moments. Some I’ve wanted to toss and pull like Dad did the dandelions in his gardens. But those weedier moments were often the
Real life comes with “background noise.” And in the middle of these unreal pandemic times is a new “realness.”
Life’s uncertainties and unknowns will continue–even after the pandemic. What is certain is God’s love and faithfulness, His insistence on being with us, His attention to the details of our life.
Not a day goes by that I don’t rail about something. But change has to begin with me, if I’m to change the discourse.
Any panic-buying moments? Any “ferry boat” toilet paper in your life? Even when we’re not at our finest, God’s able to use us in the most remarkable ways.
Today we’re in the middle of a very challenging time, a pandemic, and I’m determined to find God in the details.
I’ve only known Heather for two months. Actually it’s really only been six weeks. She was a guest on our Fave Lifestyles show, The Purple Couch, a conversation that inspired me in many ways.
Is God a football fan? Will you find God on the fifty-yard line wearing navy blue and light-up-the-night neon green? Does God root for the home team? The underdog?
A beautiful lyric from Stewart Townend’s hymn reminds us “How deep the Father’s love for us, how vast beyond all measure.”
