Kurt’s Love
Today I’m celebrating my 39th wedding anniversary.
More than once, I’ve asked Kurt, “Why in the world did you pick me?” You see, friends, back in the day, I was a mess: self-absorbed, self-centered, my self-esteem about “this” big. I was a ditz in so many ways.
I may never understand the why, but in our 39 years together, I’ve learned the what.
Kurt has always seen the possibilities in me, in us. He’s always believed in me, loved me, respected me in ways I haven’t.
Kurt’s love has been unconditional and full of grace and I’ve watched it grow and grow and grow.
God’s Love
God surrounds us with many wonderful relationship—family relationships, friendships, special associates. Each one helps us better see and understand God and His care for each one of us.
And that important, because here’s what I know for sure: God has always seen the possibilities in all of us. He believes in us and loves each one of us.
And on this very special day, I thank Him for the dearest man, the man who was willing to “I do” to the possibilities!
