This winter my husband, Kurt, and I spent a week in New York City. Friday morning I insisted on being part of the Today Show “window on the street” crowd.
From the Today Show Studio
From Studio 1A Andrea Mitchell winked at me.
Al Roker came out to the plaza and shook my hand.
Craig Melvin smiled from across the street.
Hoda gave me a wink, smiled and reached out her hand in a wave.
I was delighted. I was seen by my Today Show peeps.
On this morning after Easter, we remember the glorious resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
Our God saw us—not just in those moments when we were frantically seeking His attention, but also in our triumphs and in our defeats.
From God’s Heavenly Studio
Our God came out of His heavenly studio to be with us on the streets of our life, sending His only Son to walk with us, to die for us, to save us from the cringeworthy outtakes of our life.
And now as God’s forgiven people, we shine His light in love. You and me. In a wink, in a smile, in a wink and a smile and a wave.
When we see each other, when we acknowledge each other, we better see God in all His majesty. Our connections with God’s people remind us that God first connected with us.
Our God is an awesome all-knowing, all-seeing, all-loving God.
Happy Easter. He is risen. He is risen indeed.
Happy Easter! He is risen! He is risen indeed!
This Easter video takes us from The Today Show to the glorious resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, from Studio 1A to the streets of life.
Our God is an awesome all-knowing, all-seeing, all-loving God. Amen! Amen! Amen!
